Economic failure. The Medley Center is just about empty except for two stores, Macy's and Sears, one at each end. There are Pigeons and Gulls all over the mall and around it. I don't think a little more poop art will even be noticed. Carol - is the Medley Center "empty" for business reasons or is it another Midtown, i.e.; due to be demolished? Thanks, Janet

There's an private road between Ridge and Maplewood. It's marked by flashing yellow lights. The overlook is just across the street, but it's not much these days. Overgrown. when you go to KP to watch where do you park? and where is the path to the overlook?

7:15 am. Started at KP. Looked at all the buildings. Walked to the river overlook. Stayed about 20 minutes. Nothing seen.
7:45 am. Went to Broad St. Checked Powers Bldg, Times Square & OCS. Nothing.
7:55 am. Curro complains that he is bored.
8:00 am. Went to Pedestrian Bridge. Saw two bumps on communication tower platform. Almost immediately one took flight. It was a PF. It headed towards the Powers Bldg, pull a quick pop-up and deked left behind the black monolith bldg.
8:15 am. Drove to communication tower. No remaining bump. Either optical illusion as seen from bridge or was a 2nd falcon.
8:25 am. Back to Broad St. Pretty quickly saw PF on north side of OCS bldg, on 2nd I-beam down. Watched for about 15 minutes and went home. Some one already posted a picture of a PF in the TS scrape at 8:17.

Well, I missed all you guys. I was there from about 9:00 am to 9:45. I spent most of my time on the Maplewood/Seneca Park bridge. Larry After a beautiful morning, in which Dana and I did some watching with Carol, Brian, Don, Suzanne, Jeanne, and Joyce at Kodak Park, we headed to Braddocks Bay where we were treated to a live raptor demonstration by the folks at Braddocks Bay Raptor Research. I had heard rumors that this group had dissolved, but they were there today with several raptors, including a Red Shouldered Hawk, a Golden Eagle, and our favorite, a Peregrine Falcon. Here’s a few pictures from the demonstration, including pictures of ‘Emma’, their Peregrine. http://tinyurl.com/ner9ozLou

I was enjoying the view (zoomed in) until I swung around to the blue belly. Larry O Here’s an update on the Kodak Tower renovation from today’s D&C. http://tinyurl.com/l5m62lNOTE: Be sure to check out the “360-degree view from the Kodak Tower” on the page. You can control the camera –left, right, up, down and even zoom in/out. Lou That 360-degree view is so cool! Brought back memories from last year's Watcher's weekend...I could see my hotel from up there and everything! Thanks for posting this! Judi
