King St: Erinâs Reign as Resident Female Being Challenged pt Yesterday, Saturday Dec 12, Bruce was able to confirm the presence and identity of a second female on the fringe of the 18 King Street East territory and while he had her in his scope, Linda confirmed Stormin on a nearby condo and I had Erin on camera at the end of the ledge. In the post that follows this one, I will give you the details on Erinâs challenger and her time here in Ontario that we are aware of. Her name is Ivy.I'm keeping an eye on Sheraton as well as every time Ivy was spotted in around King St, we saw strange behavior at Sheraton as well. Given how close they are, Ivy may not have known where the 'boundary line' is between the two territories. Tracy's full post here: http://www.peregrine-foundation.ca/w/2015/12/sightings/erins-reign-as-resident-female-being-challenged-pt1/Isn't Ivy the one that Jersey City's Athena and Six fostered a couple years ago? I know she's been seen around the area up there.

Moving around After some frustrating days of not being able to locate our youngsters, some friends and I finally found them in a dead tree several hundred metres from the nest. This is probably due to the fact that this tree is the only large dead tree without other trees too close, so ideal for âflight trainingâ. We did have two dead pine trees close to the nest, but these were felled for safety reasons. http://falconcamproject.org/

A splendid showing. And thanks for the info re how "we" spend the money. I was thinking it must be badly needed for cameras etc., and I was right. Thanks to all of you who make this happen. What would we do without you! Not to mention the people "on the street" who never let us down. A big round of applause all round.
