This is Dad perched near the nest. Yes, he's banded. As far as I know no one has gotten the numbers.



I was lucky to get the picture I did of the eyas...this is what the view of the nest looks like now. Another few days and you won't see anything at all.

Looks like a pip with a tiny beak in it to me!  Good catch Donna!   

I don't think it's a pip, it looks like a blood spot from a feeding! 

I don't see any pips...just a bunch of poop & blood stains. Even if the last egg doesn't hatch, I'm very happy with our 3 beautiful eyases!

Looks like all four have hatched and were being fed this morning about 8:00 a.m. 

Great news!

Yes, it's the shell.  She did a good job slipping that on!  You can see it now on the main stills.  Looked like a crack to me!

To me, it looks like the other piece of shell over the end of the solid egg that makes it look like it's cracked.

Half a shell for sure...WOO HOO! We have a hatch!
