She will lay an egg when she's good & ready LOL! She does this to us every single year. She may be off kilter with the construction going on across the street, but she has spent the past few nights at the nest.

Good point about the construction across the street. I know she has been in the nest for the past few nights, since I have spent a lot of time watching her at night as she sits there motionless.  

I have too..often thought the cam was stuck until I looked at the clock!

Chris has been dealing with pretty difficult work-related issues for a while; hopefully things will start easing up now. He said I could report that there are four healthy owlets in the owl box; their eyes aren't open yet - just hatchlings. He is getting and saving the traditional 15-second (if I remember correctly) black-and-white captures and when he has time he says he plans to start putting up the traditional "dailies."  He is not getting the fancy video he had last year, but we'll take what we can get, huh. As for when we can expect to start seeing them, no one can say. Who knows, maybe we'll have an off-season nest box to keep us entertained this year! In any case, all is well.

Someone messaged me on Twitter, asking if I knew anything about Chris and what's going on.  She's direct messaged him and emailed him from his blog with no answers from him.  She's worried..anyone know anything?

It was so funny.  He was there about 10 minutes before at corner of deck with a good sized food delivery that Beauty wasn't interested in. Appears she just wants to rest.  He came back with a little chunk, trying to get her out of the box.  He approached twice, before finally entering the box.  That got Beauty to take the chunk and leave, allowing him to settle in for a nap with his eggs. He brought his own pillow this time too!

I hope Hera is safe somewhere. I was hoping she would have been here for her tenth year.

I've followed Hera for several years and feel so bad she's no longer here..I hope she's somewhere safe too. 

The same thing happened last year, Lady returned and new lady disappeared. They say the weather has delayed some of the Ospreys return from migration so still hoping Lady comes back to all her followers and her mate!

I hope nothing's wrong, as they usually have eggs by now.  Rhea Mae and Tiago are such good parents!

First egg last year was laid on April 2nd.
