Just curious as to why the main cam is always pointed away from the TS nestbox? If they visit there, we won’t be able to see them.
The new Main Cam has the best zoom so it makes sense to point it at known perches on other buildings. In the meantime, Cams 3&4 can see activity at the nest box. Also, the new Main Cam can be pointed at a moments notice. a simple post to the Rfalconcam Now board will alert me to move the camera. Ok, thanks!

Well, I have finally seen with my very own eyes a peregrine falcon flying by the Mid-Hudson Bridge. No picture-I was tooling along at 50 mph in heavy traffic-but there was no mistaking it! I've been trying for years to see one there. NYS DEC has a camera on the nestbox under the bridge. I had to have a friend scope out where the box is from a boat on the Hudson. But all the time I've spent over there never ever actually saw a PEFA until yesterday!
