Looks like Solo got in trouble again!  How many times is this now??

He will be released soon!!

I think this makes 5 or 6 times.  He fledged too soon, poor thing.

Bill and I went to the Atlanta Zoo this past April where we got to do the "Panda Encounter".  It was costly (kind of a bucket list thing) but we got to see all 4 Pandas, a guided tour of the behind-the-scene Panda facilities, a "command" demonstration between Yang Yang and his Keeper and at the end of the 45 minutes, each of us on tour got to hand-feed Yang Yang!  Our guide did tell us that Po and Xi Lan will probably be returning to China soon so I was glad we got to see them before they left.  Good news posted today on Zoo Atlanta FB page!!
Does Lun Lun have a secret? Not anymore! Ultrasound and hormonal results have revealed that she's expecting her fourth cub ... in two to three weeks!

Solo fledged early this AM, was found grounded, was rescued, banded, determined to be male and was released later on in the day! Quite an eventful day for Solo!

No word on dad?

I read Dad will stay in rehab this weekend, have X-rays if needed then hopefully released sometime next week. Here's the blog with pics of Solo, how he got grounded plus his fledge video.

I think it's a "device" issue.

All is well on my 'puter-both embedded player and ustream direct. But channel 1 is showing as off line on my kindle, both embedded and using the ustream app. Channel 2 is showing as on line.

I was and when Shaky fixed it, it worked for a short while but can't get it now-says "this content is currently not online".

I will bet lunch that the foul odor is H$U$ lobbying and "contributions" to the politicians behind this.  There is an enormous difference between Animal Rights and Animal WELFARE, and H$U$ exemplifies it, all with tax free 501(c)3 money    (Google Lois Lerner HSUS)

There's a FB group called "Lily: A bear with a bounty" that are taking a lot of credit for the permit not being renewed.  These people have been brutal in their remarks over the past couple years, encouraging everyone and all their relatives to send emails to the DNR about every little thing being done "wrong" in the study, asking that Dr. Rogers permit be revoked. They made awful comments and jokes when Hope was shot to death and I'm afraid Lily's going to have a big target on her back now.
Just posted that the DNR may have just shot a "nuisance radio-collared bear".
