OMG, I won! How cool is that? Never did I think I would but I did!! CONGRATS to Beauty & DC!! I stayed up until 1:50am, then I don't remember a thing after. Joyce even texted me and I never heard it. Thanks Joyce, nice thing to wake up to!  

                   

Sad news for Lucy and Larry-their egg apparently wasn't viable and has disintegrated.

I hope Beauty will have a very successful year. She has not had an easy life so far, and she deserves to have everything go smoothly for her this year.

The husband of a lifelong friend of mine from Rochester owns the company that built the cams for that nest in Norfolk.  They are just sick about the situation there. She says every time the eagles build a nest in the garden, officials destroy it with paintball guns. I'm so glad to see there's good news for at least one of the Norfolk eaglets.   

They're shooting paint balls at the Eagles, have disassembled and destroyed 6 nests, that I know of, and have cut down all the branches of the trees that would support the nests so that they can't rebuild in the same spot.  It's horrible!

One hatched this AM, 3 eggs remain with a pip, chat is saying.  It was wicked here in Atlanta (we're in a hotel right across from the building with the nest) last night with winds, driving rain, thunder boomers galore.  I was watching her on cam and she hunkered down pretty good on those eggs.

I can't believe that someone would file a complaint after all these years.  People are crazy...

Sure are and there aren't many people that provide this type of service either. It would be a great loss...

After all the help and support they have given the animals over the years, an "anonymous" complaint...
