Too late to send Pigott...new female has arrived already at UB. Sage sent a tweet...Joyce sent a text...I hit the recorder... Yankee confirmed and an unbanded female bowing & chupping at the nest box. I have video-will upload it tonight, but here's some screen shots... I'm still so sad for BB but happy for Yankee-his life must go on.

No, I don't think I've seen this posted before and what a great cam! Next to Falcons, RTH's are my next favorite! Thanks!
Pleased to see this IS a new post! The RTH in the cam pix has the nicest face... tho I am sure she would disabuse me of this were I to get too close! Probably!

It looks like Yankee. He has blk/blk band. We did not get out today but will check tomorrow. If anyone see any activity in or out of the box, I hope you can grab some screencaps or at least tell us what you witnessed. Without his mate, Yankee could just leave the vicinity. I'm hoping he can find a loose falcon flying through the area and will appreciate his nice heated condo!
Too bad we couldn't send Pigott over to him. She have a nice condo and she'd be close to her sister too Maybe MAK could have a chat with her tomorrow and put the idea in her head Funny but I had the same thoughts!

I saw this on BCAW and Bonnie said I could post it! Jersey City webcam- Might have a ray of hope. Heard today that a compromise might've been reached, with DEP supporting the cam, and Conserve Wildlife Foundation of NJ doing alot of fundraising in attempt to reimburse the cost. Afterward, it'll be up to CWF to get the cam running for 2014.

SFO Update 3.14.13 by stewartfalcon
I am going to go out on a limb and say that I saw slight improvement in today's flight. He chased a homing pigeon briefly then circled back to a fence post and planted a solid landing. He waited there while I walked to the other side of the pasture--a distance of about 150 yards--then flew immediately to the lure when it was presented.
Our routine has been for him to make one flight and then rest for a day. I have been giving him a full meal on the lure at the end of the flight. It is probably time to kick it up a notch. I do not want to overdo it, but I think we can find new ways to challenge him a little more with more flights per day or longer flights between two people when an assistant is available.
Please do not get overly hopeful as the slight improvement that I thought I detected is still a long way from independence in the wild.
