There is another sub adult there!!!  She is ringed! (banded).  There was another female around one day  with a ring and they thought she might just be passing through on migration but guess what she's at the box with Antonio!!

Terka has photos of them together at the nest box!

Saw that! Great news!

Bonnie just chased off nest by another owl Can't see it but came in Hooting loud and she fled. 6 minutes ago, she was attacked 3 hours ago also. Be a miracle if these eggs hatch.

Pic from when she just left or chased off.

This is so sad plus George and Martha have returned and have been seen in the area the last few days.

I've been watching this little one since he was born in January to Blaze and Benny.  Because of him being delivered via C-section, Blaze was kept apart from him until she healed. The reintroduction of the baby with Blaze has been slow because mom has been hesitant to bond but the past few days, she seems to be paying more attention to him with each session that they spend together. The story of his fanfare birth:

Here is a recent pic (courtesy of Atlanta Zoo) showing a bonding session with the baby on a day that they had 2 sharing experiences:

First YouTube of him vocalizing-sounds like a sqeaker toy!   wub2

Beauty is in NB (shadow) and tiercel on wall.  Are there bands or not?  Zoomed in, too hard to tell.

Looks banded to me. Silver on right/black over red on left or maybe just black over black?
