PP Owlet is out of the nest! Earlier today, the owlet was in the nest and PPO was close by. They seemed to be having a conversation. When I checked a little later, PP Owlet was on the branch, with PPO preening him/her.
Great catches! I saw it wingersizing quite a bit last night so wondered if it wasn't going to be too much longer before it hopped out of the box!

Happy New Year Falcon Fans! My first check in after an absence of 10 days and I was surprised, that in spite of the cold temperatures, to hear chupping coming from the nest ledge!
Jack was by the nest box and O’connor flew in from the South to land on the web cam and the chup-fest continued so all is well here as we start a brand new year!

They were all fantastic and it was great to see that there were some young photographers that participated. My favorites were the Kestral, Hummingbird and Egret.
