    YAY, MAK finally made it to Arkansas, it only took 42 hours, 5 bus transfers and not 1 BUS left their station on time!! Time of arrival, 1:42AM. Let the fun begin! Enjoy MAK!!

Which 1:42? The one before the clocks were set back at 2, or the one after?

I don't know for sure-all I know is the text message beeping woke me up around 3:10 DST-phone said the text was at 1:39-so I'm thinking it was the one after. 2:39 DST, 1:39 EST

My text (x3) came in at 1:36 AM EST.

Thanks Margaret!    MAK's bus of course, left an hour later than it was suppose to, (what else is new)? They waited for a person who never showed up. This bus has no outlets or WiFi so she will try and get some zzzzz's. Not sure now what time she will arrive at her next destination! She said NEVER AGAIN on a bus! Can't blame her. 

This is a worse nightmare than our Puerto Vallarta trip! Hope she does get some sleep-this is exhausting just reading about it! BTW-doesn't she have a bus ticket for her return trip too?

Hello from Indianapolis home of the football Colts. There were people running in the Monument Marathon as I stepped out from the bus/train station. While waiting for my bus I took a look outside and while I was taking pics of the sights I stumbled upon a FALCON! I only got 2 pics of it before it flew to the other side of the Greyhound bus/ Amtrak train station out of my view. I walked around the entire station but wasn't able to find it again. Came in to warm up as I am not dressed for the cold morning and download my pics to share with my fellow falcon peeps!

Awww, MAK.  I feel so bad that you're having such a bad time getting to your sister's.  Leave it to you though to find a Falcon in your travels!   Great catch!

Pale Male OK after the storm -Central Park has several downed trees and is closed for clean-up.

We were 'spared' here.  I think it was because we are on the west side of a hill.   There is terrible tree damage that took two young lives. Parks are closed and Verplanck had boats washed up on the road.

Good to hear from you and that you're OK but sad about the loss of lives. So much devastation.
