Thanks for the translated update about S2, Alison.  I do think they did the best they could for her and so hoped she could've been flying free soon but, sadly, it just wasn't meant to be.

Thanks!  I guessed that because you said no bird of prey but didn't say it wasn't a water bird.  Then I thought Heron because a lot of them were seen this summer by the Genesee.  I did a search for Heron chick and there it was!  Just a lucky find!
