She flew beautifully around a high building next to the launch site, then expanded her range to about 2 blocks to the south. She was observed flying and manuevering with another, experienced peregrine who was chasing and bullying her (normal behavior). The male in the group, Percy (Band A12) was previously released so he had plenty of experience. He took off to the south of the release sight, flying smooth and steady. Ooops! Should have waited before posting... (And should have guessed Donna would catch it.) NOW what do we do?!

If Orion doesn't grab him and do some flying lessons with him. Next time they do any maintenance (camera or box) I assume they will put him back in the nest box. If he falls off maybe he can be rescued and
 rehabbed and released into the nest box this fall.

Thanks!  I saw it posted by someone on the petition to stop secondary rodenticide poisoning in the Hawks of NYC and loved it too!

I see they have colored markers on the wings, any clue as to what color Journey is sporting?

I wrote to them and they said "orange and she's flying beautifully!"
