Anne, I think all of us not in the inner circle of this group were curious about why we need a new logo. I can't see any harm in your questions and I would bet my life that NOBODY took offense at what you said. I'm sad that you feel you should keep your opinions and questions to yourself, or that you don't fit in here anymore for whatever reason. You said you have "learned your place", but I think your place is right here chiming in with any and all questions and comments. I personally have enjoyed your comments for years and want to continue hearing from you.

Just a request to please refrain from sarcastic comments on people's logo submissions in this forum. Not only are these artists who spent time trying to help us out, they may be members or may have access to the forum. It serves no purpose. We can give feedback but let's do it in a way that helps; in a way that builds up, not tears down.
What say?
Lou
I totally agree, Lou - there's a lot of talent being shown with these designs.

I'm liking the 2 new entries......love the backgrounds..Mercury, TS and OCSR! #45 is cool too but what is the M...a split falcon? Scary.
The M is a stylized falcon face with the beak as the middle point...which is why I asked if it can be tweaked if chosen-smooth out the edges a bit... Ei I couldn't figure out the "M" in #45 until you explained it, Ei. Now I can definitely see it and I do like it a lot-also #47 is good with all the Rochester Falcon sites.

Anything Else / Totally OT / Re: A tricycle for Lexie

Dear Kris,
Thank you so much for letting us play a part in this win for Lexie! As I watched the video, I started wondering who exactly had won the most -- Lexie, because she has her tricycle, will gain from the exercise, the independence it will afford her, or we the people who voted for her day after day. It is hard to get people to act together these days, in any effort. It is hard to get people to cooperate in a local situation, but it is next to impossible to get the international community to do anything together! And, in fact, we're all very tired of always being asked to give, to do our green part, to pay out more and more, collect less and less... But when an opportunity comes along and the joy of that opportunity becomes contagious, we suddenly don't feel put upon -- we feel bigger, more powerful, more excited, just plain happier! So, thank you again for including us in your desire to do the best possible for your Lexie -- now OUR Lexie!! We have all benefitted immeasurably!! And I'll bet that I'm not the only one grinning and searching for tissues!
My very best wishes and thanks, Anne in Toronto
Beautifully said, Anne, and I think as a "team" that we all came away winners!
