You are ALL the best!
I definitely AGREE!! Being one of the watchers, I might be too close, but I think we really do have one of the most organized and dedicated groups anywhere.

No pictures from me, but I did make it to the Nest Box home today Joyce,Lisa and Dana were watching in the rain. I could only stay a few minutes as the others in the Car had to be somewhere else. But I got to see the kids and adults in person. Loved it, even if they didn't fly for me Will be going up soon for a watch myself...Dave too. ginha It was exciting for Bill and I when we were in Rochester a couple days ago and saw all 4 while there! Beauty brought in food for the girls and Archer was at the base of the wing! Carrie was on watch so we got to meet her.

Osprey Diary 25 June Friday, June 25th, 2010
Good Morning All! Sorry for the late update today. It’s so busy here this morning that everyone assumed someone else had written the blog! Having been off for 2 days (catching up on lost sleep!), I came in this morning to a bird who looked liked nothing had ever happened to her, so I’m now wondering if it was real or I dreamed the entire thing?! The Laird has delivered several decent sized fish this morning and mum has yet again been stuffing them full of food. It’s hard to believe that in just 2 weeks they could be flying! I think after all that has happened, the fledging will be a momentous occasion and I’m sure quite an emotional one as well. We will keep monitoring her progress and hope it is all as positive as the last few days have been. She has certainly put on a bit of weight again and her preening is making sure she looks her best. Thanks again to all of you for your support over the last week. It’s helped us through and helped reinforce the importance of what we do. Fiona

Nice, Wish I could come over for a playdate! Who said ya can't? Janet, it rained as soon as it was filled...water was too cold anyway to swim. brrr Which is why we are having it heated, too. Salt water filtration, too. Our pool is solar heated-was 84 degrees yesterday when we went in swimming!

Maybe it will be like Mariah and Seneca-- Mariah spent a lot of time with Seneca because she was the last to fledge. I hope for little Warrior, that it will be a special mom and daughter time. It is sad that she won't be playing talon tag and having a sibling to snuggle with though.
It kind of looks like she is missing some feathers. Is that normal.
It does look like she's missing feathers, Jeanne. Here's a different angle.
