This egg just doesn't look right.
Now that I'm home & looking on a real monitor, I'm thinking the 3rd egg may not be good. I'm not giving up hope yet, but that spot does look strange. Only time will tell. I think so too. Like it's oozing something and that's why everything is sticking to it. It's not good for her to be brooding it if it's bad, is it?It shouldn't be a problem...lots of unhatched eggs in a lot of nests...Rhea Mae still has an unhatched egg in the scrape... I was just saying that because of what Carol posted when Beauty disposed of the first egg (in case this one is also broken): Beauty did the right thing, disposing of the broken egg. According to our friend Mark Nash, CPF, the material inside the egg can be very distructive if it gets on their feathers. It looks like Beauty answered the question for us...it looks like the 3rd egg is gone. Amazing how they know. It truly is amazing, Ei. I was afraid if it was oozing that it would hurt the little ones too as they were laying on it at times.

Brunch time! Lots of noise lol - the kids here at school are grossed out by the Main cam pic haha
I can't get the steaming video here at school, but I had the main camera picture up on the overhead (of brunch) when my kids came in and they were a little "grossed" out too...and they're high school seniors! Some remember watching the Kodak cam when they were in middle school and elementary school! It makes an impression. These pictures are fascinating; to watch the interaction, and the wonder of nature unfold before our eyes. It truly is a privilege. Question....who brought home "the brunch"? Was it Archer or did Beauty step out? Archer brought it in to her.

Yup, out of the shell at 3:20. Out my office window we see fly up a few minutes later. Mom tells him all about it, so he flies away to sit at the base of Mercury, where he's still sitting.
I wondered where he was-heard all the chattering going on between the 2 of them but didn't see Archer. Thanks for keeping us posted, Mark!
