If you can access it, it's worth the visit.  Some of the pics show the "remarkable" flying ability of Seneca (she had very good teachers!) when they sighted a cat near the scrape! It also shows closeups of their 2 eggs.

The Stone Owl laid her 4th egg today!    Hard to tell how many Pigeon eggs there are in the hallway-she's in front of the camera right now.  The 2 of them got into a little scuffle today-it's on the video. Another odd arrangement.

The Owl was sitting on her eggs in the nestbox this AM calling out maybe for her mate while the Pigeon was standing by her egg looking into the nestbox at the Owl. Strange. 

I just got back from Braddocks' Bird of prey days where I saw a live sharp-shinned hawk be released after being banded. It was awesome!!!  Then I watched the presentation from GVAS and our very own Carol Phillips (good job Carol) talk about peregrines. Finally,they had a live Peregrine Falcon that was like 2 ft. away from me!!!      Saw Joyce and Brian H. and some other watchers.

not out of the woods with that owlet #2, apparently. the fire ants may have gotten to it. Chris had to take the nest down and open some of the egg. the chick was peeping but there was blood. He may or may not make it.

I hope that the little one will be OK.  Some fire ants got on my feet years ago when I was visiting my father in Florida.  I had blisters on the tops of my feet and in between my toes from the bites.  Very painful.

We went to the live Bird of Prey show last night at Braddock Bay which was great!  Kudos to Paul Schnell for what he does and the wonderful presentation he gave to a sizable crowd. Really beautiful birds!

The Stone Owl laid its second egg but if you look at the 2nd camera, there's an egg on the floor outside the box.  I just saw a Pigeon in this area and that egg probably belongs to her. 

   How cute is that little one!
