White Headed Woodpecker!  Had to do some Googling so connection is tired!

They figured it came down the "stink pipe" and it was so near drowned!  I DID feel sorry for it when it didn't make it.  BUT I JUST about had a heart attack!!  this face doesn't even come close! 

Dawn has been trying to convince me how lovey SOME of them can be like her Bullet!  She says she thinks I would change my mind if I ever met him!  Snakes and GS's are forever on my NO NO List!  Just can't get passed past history!  LOL!

Thanks Shaky!  That is just the bestest idea!     I have such slow internet connections down here so haven't gotten here for a few days! 
We are down to #3 with only 16 days left to vote.  As long as we get to finish in the top 10 we are awarded the money, but sure don't want anyone to forget to vote each and every day!  Also on facebook and you can text too if your phone has that ability.  Thank you so much for keeping the notices going for me!  Stay safe up there in the cold and snow!  We are chilly down here, and everyone is complaining, but NOT ME NO SNOW so I am happy!   

WOW!  Love this one!  Was visiting family in Michigan a few years back, taking a shower, no glasses on so vision not great!  Hear this splashing, look around curtain and see something dark brown MOVING around in potty!  Am scared to death of snakes and German Shepherds (sorry Dawn!) and started screaming and knocking on the wall so someone would hear me!!  Hubby rushed in and there was a little squirrel in there!  Poor baby, but poor me almost had a heart attack!  We laugh about that to this day!

How about Tufted Tit Mouse.  Have those up home but we aren't there!  Miss all the birds we see in the winter up North.    See lots of Turkey Vultures down here too!

I was wondering where the snow removal company is and when do they think they could get around to clearing the stuff for the homeowner?     It sure looks like you up there have been hit pretty good so far this year!  Stay safe!

OK everyone!  Just did my voting and we seem to be stuck at #2!  I KNOW we can DO IT!!  Get us back up to #1!!!  It is closing in on Christmas and we NEED TO SHOW THE TROOPS HOW MUCH WE APPRECIATE ALL THEIR SACRIFICES FOR US!  MOST OF THEM WON'T GET TO SPEND THE HOLIDAYS WITH THEIR FAMILIES!  NOT ONLY DO THEY SACRIFICE BUT THEIR FAMILIES DO TOO!  Remember them daily!!

AW Anne this is a GREAT story to follow!  I can't wait to read more!  Hopefully someone passing by will finally comment on how cool it is!  I am sure it is giving LOTS of people a smile!   

I agree what a beautiful sight that must have been!  He/She sure didn't seem to skittish!  Any we have around our house are skittish and MOVING!  Thanks for the GREAT pictures and for sharing.
