LOL!  Thanks for the compliments!  It was my first tattoo next I got one of my 3 dogs.  Two goldens we miss so much and Jake we have now.  They are in a heart shape to continue that.  Then this year got a "family tree" ankle bracelet!  I NEVER would have thought at age 60 I would START getting tattoos!   

Sorry Dale a bit late here!  I got it in honor of turning 60 last year!

OH OH OH!!  So far no one has said F for FALCON!!!!   YEAH I will!   The super cool raptor that caught my attention on the internet, right after we got our first computer!  It has lead me to a whole lot of super cool people and information!   
I even got my first tattoo last year and it is a peregrine falcon!

WOW! Carol P you sure did find the right Quote for this day!  I have a son serving in the Navy and I am so grateful that he IS safe, today.  He joined in 2000 and has just been assigned to the new Bush air craft carrier!  He spent time last year in Iraq, made me more grey than I have been.  My heart REALLY goes out to those Military and their families who are in Afghanistan and surrounding areas.

I too read that about offering her the bowl of water and my heart melted!  She has learned to trust those keepers and to have her be calm while they are THAT close!      

I HATE snow : BUT . . I LOVE the pictures from Jeff!  Thank you so MUCH for posting those.  I hope all is ok with Momma Seal.  Love all of the pictures!  Can't wait for more!   I could NEVER handle being anywhere with snow and cold like that    But glad some people can so we can see the pictures and see what it is like there.

I live in Northern Indiana and belong to a group that is part of the National HUG Organization.  We make Cooling Ties and Head cooling "caps" for our Troops serving  over seas.  We are the ONLY chapter in Indiana right now and we are small (but MIGHTY) and need the funds to keep our packages going.  We also pack those boxes with LOTS and LOTS of other special goodies for our brave and wonderful guys and gals over there.

I choose the cranes, Sandhill like I saw for the first time last year in Florida!  Loved watching this pair and hearing their clacking!   They were BEAUTIFUL!!

I was watching her yesterday too and really thought she looked like she was in labor.  Just the funny way she would sit! So the first site I went to this morning was to see if there was any word!!  YEAH!  Let the cuteness begin!

I just LOOKED at that picture and my heart is racing!  I have the BIGGEST fear of snakes (and German Shepherds) and I think I would have had to wait in the car and have the Assistant come out to get me!  YIKES!   And you stuck it out to learn about this thing and his others!  WOW!
