I just can't imagine what all that must be like out there!    OH MY!! All of you out there PLEASE take care and do what they ask of you to be safe!  Believe me I am praying for some major rain to help those tired firefighters out.  I will keep you all in my prayers here in Indiana!  Keep us all updated!

I have an AWWWWW moment every time I see that little one!  The other day Mom was gone and that little one was on it's back and rolling all around!  They kept zooming the cam in, I think to see if they could tell boy or girl!  My guess . . .Baby boy.   

OMG!!  I guess if I got emails like that I would BLOCK  her!!  Thank goodness I don't have one that takes time to do things like that!  Wonder what you can do back?? 

Cool movie!  Love seeing them together.  Sure can't wait til next year to see if there are babies here!

OH Janet your new house is so pretty!  That front porch makes me want to sit in a rocking chair with my coffee and watch the world go by!    As for the hummingbird pictures, WOW!  We just haven't taken the time this year but they are eating me out of house and home this year!  I have 4 feeders up around the house and especially the one at the kitchen window holds 1 cup of food and they empty that in less than 24 hours!  So I am doing feeders daily!  Soon they will start to depart and I will miss them!  We plan to take a 6-7 week trip to Florida in our "new" 5th wheel in Oct/Nov so plan to take a couple feeders with us to see if they will come feed down there.   

On another forum I know a gal in Ohio who had a Rufus come through, got it verified and they got it captured and banded, that sure would be a fete with those tiny feet!

I captured a couple pictures of the happy couple this morning and am going to try and post them on here.  My fingers are crossed in hopes that it works!

You are a BRAVE woman!   Just NO WAY I WOULD BE CLOSE TO ANYTHING LIKE THAT!!  Great we have people like you to help young ones understand.     So what did you do with that "thing"? 

OT!  Wow I just noticed I am pipping!!!  YIPPEEE I am sort of tired of the inside of this egg!  LOL!

For me it is stepping on a (Thank goodness) sleeping rattle snake! That one had me screaming like a mad teenager  Then having to get one away from my Mom while she was in the garden!  So that is enough for me in my book!!! That one had 7-8 rattles, I got to keep them!   Know they help keep the rodents down but so do outdoor cats!  Love them much more!

OHHHH Janet me too on the offer of the shot gun!!  I have come across 2 rattlesnakes in my time, really real rattlesnakes and both are no longer around to tell their side of the story!!  Snakes and german shepards and water are my biggest fears!!  I get in panic mode at the site of ANY kind of SNAKE!!!!!!    Would be hard to get me in that garage ever again!!  Totally undersand!  But look at it this way you had your arobic work out for the day!! 

I have so many humming birds around here this year.  I have 4 feeders around the house and yard and they are eating like crazy!  They drink at LEAST 3 cups of food A DAY!!  I LOVE watching them and can get them really close while I am at the kitchen  window or on the deck. They sure do buzz all over the place!  Miss them when they fly south.  Hubby and I are going to Florida for 6-7  weeks in Oct. and I plan to take a couple feeders along on our trip.
