MAK that is GREAT news!  Just think of all the knowledge you learn with this first one you will already know for the second one!  I wonder once we get all our "moving" parts replaced does that mean our age goes backwards and we begin to get younger?  New lease on life sort of thing??  laugh  Hopefully the weather keeps nice so you can continue to go outside for your walks!

It seems our animals have internal clocks and our dog Jake always has a rough time adjusting!  He wants his lunch and supper an hour early, guess he doesn't understand the time change!  LOL!  Have to take a couple days just to re adjust him!  LOL!  I just see it as one more thing to get used to in old age, they say change keeps your mind active and "young" I would have to have a brain first!!  hysterical

MAK sorry to hear things are still achy and itchy.  Hopefully the walking is getting better!  Hang in there and don't give up!  penguinspin flowers

I had the bright sunshine waking me up!  Hate to try and sleep when there is light so this morning I had to wake the computer up since it was BRIGHT outside which means to my pea brain, time to get up!  Bigger surprise is that hubby is also up!   surprise

Have a couple of friends who took a trip to Africa and they brought back the most amazing pictures and some were of these Rollers!  They ARE beautiful!  For my birthday that year I asked that my picture be one of those, but her father passed so never got my Roller picture. But remember how vivid the colors are!  I also love the group snuggle picture!  Trying to keep warm maybe?  The look on their faces is so peaceful!

MAK!  I am so sorry I haven't checked on you til now!  We arrived in Florida and have been moving ever since!  Yesterday I told myself to take a few seconds and check on your progress, well that didn't happen, paperbag
But so happy to hear you are home and doing better!  My cousin had BOTH knees done at one time this summer and she too had problems with UTI and not sure what that is but she had blood clots and rough recovery!  The reactions to the  pain meds are not good, but glad you are off them now.  Keep up the GREAT work, it is long and hard but it will be well worth it!  Maybe you really didn't have a bad reaction to the pain meds on Halloween, it was just the trick of the night?  devil  Evil  hysterical

Congrats on the new room!  PT here she comes!  Something tells me she may get down (don't we all from time to time) but she won't stay down!  You go MAK!  I am so glad that insurance co. came through.  I would think it would be automatic especially for joint replacements like this.  They say knees are the roughest!  Hang in there MAK!  There are alot of people out here who are keeping "tabs" on you!

Hugs from Indiana!   thumbsup
