This is so exciting...Fantastic photo of Ihteram that Barb caught!

Ihteram's mate is unbanded. Barb didn't say, but if they are close in size, then she may be with the same tiercel spotted in 2008. Obviously they like Detroit, MI.  Hmmm, where were they hiding for 5 years?

I also asked Barb if she has heard anything on Alkyonis (Rochester 2004) at the DTE Power Plant in St. Claire County, Michigan. She wrote: "Not sure about Alkyonis.  That is a very tough building to monitor.  We need a boat!"

Like others, 2005 was my first year of being a downtown falcon watcher after lurking the year before. Many of you may remember I started out taking pics with camera binoculars. It's been 8 years. Love these birds!
