Billie & Seth need a nest!! (hint hint) Nice idea but where would you like to put it? The DEC has been informed that there was nesting activity in that location resulting in 1 juvenile falcon. Now that we have confirmed a resident pair in the area, maybe they will advocate having a nest tray or box for next year (after this season is over). The question was asked, so we wait and see.

Well I'm glad you "verified" what I've been reporting Joyce! Wouldn't want people to think I'm making this stuff up. By the way, the window to the right on the first pic behind the chair and planter is my apartment. Oh, and nice pics!! Hope u didn't take what I posted wrong. We all know you aren't making it up. I just wanted to share what it looks like when it gets captured on camera, because I know you have a hard time with holding your arms up and taking pictures when the falcons are flying by so fast.

BRONX, you stole my heart when you were only known by your yellow feet. You were the youngest of three, but you flew like a pro after you fledged. You were so much fun to watch on cam and in person. I miss you still...FLY FREE.
Dumpsterkitty shared this "so true" quote by Charles Annenberg...
“The beauty of our cams is that it allows us to connect with nature in its highest form of purity. That said, the dark side of this intimacy is accepting that the natural world is not the Disney film we all hope for. The lesson for all of us is to appreciate the fragile world we live in and how delicate the balance between life and death is a compliment to how the cameras have connected emotional bounds with the wonders of the world."
Thank you BRONX for bringing the joy of nature into my life. ~ Joyce (wnyfalconfan)
