Quest sure does pick some great scenic spots to check out.

rochfalconflyer (aka Lisa McK) mentioned that she might take a detour to Ogdensburg when she drives up to her son's college which is not to far away.

It would be great to get a first hand report of VALIANT (formerly Sabrina).

From this morning's changing of the guard.  Yankee acts very submissively to BB.

I just posted an album of this morning's screencaps HERE

Actually, Yankee might have an attitude...that is the same look Kaver used to give Mariah when he didn't want to give up being on the eggs.  I think BB has an attentive partner.

Thanks for putting all those webcam shots into an album.  Pretty neat as a slideshow.

I was checking courtships to egg laying, and 20 days is average.  Because Archer arrived later,  maybe we are eggspecting too much.  20 days will be April 10.  whistle

Talk about a watch group... "A team of about 70 volunteers watch the nest 24 hours a day to safeguard any eggs from thieves and poachers."

You can just put a smiley in body, and it will work.

Yes Annette it was Beauty teasing us again.  BTW, you don't need to repeat what you put into the Topic Subject.  When we receive the tweets, we get the Subject and the content (if it is short).  Remember we only get the original post, not any replys.

Appreciate your keeping watch for us!

She is driving me NUTS! hyper

So, what is Beauty's agenda for the day...

  • assume position
  • sit on edge of nestbox
  • hang around Times Square
  • fly to Mercury
  • mate with Archer

...and start all over again!

It's all the social networking that's caused the popularity.  I got invited to be a fan from a friend on Facebook, and it is popular on Twitter too.  I'm surprised their website hasn't crashed from so many hits.

Wait til we have fluffballs on the main cam!

rochfalconflyer (Lisa McK): Beauty on Mercury's foot.  ARcher at the base of Mercury.  <  Lisa>

Those are the same locations we find A&B after they have mated on the foot.

Re: Mariah?

Thank you so much for the chronology of events Shaky. The 'old guy' has been
away on sick leave and it almost breaks my heart to learn that Kaver and Mariah
are no longer around. But that is life I suppose.
The same thing unfolds in our human life, albiet over a longer period of time.
Thank you ever so much for all your input over the past several years Shakymon.
You have been a great asset to this chat site, if not the greatest asset.

Wish we could find out who they are.  My camera didn't catch anything (too blurry in flight), and no leg shots high up on the building.
