There is a guy that travels by boat out to the Galloo Islands (near that light house), from a "marina" near me. If I see his boat docked next time I'm up there, I will ask him to keep an eye out for Quest when he's out there. The Galloo's have been home to cormorants, and controversy, in the decade past.

Did you see what's out there in the water?  On Nov 28 and Dec 2 it looks like she might be hanging around a light house, and a historic one at that!

Dana - you out did yourself...all in one day - WOW!  I can't believe the shots you caught.  Great feeding documentary with the RTH,  and the Merlin is precious.

Other than Wild Wings, I've never seen an urban Merlin.  Is this an adult?

I was seeing feathers flying around so I went to Cam 2 and sure enough, Beauty was plucking away.

Yay Donna!  So glad you confirmed she is still hanging around the nestbox.  I never see her there in person.

Happy Thanksgiving neighbours! You all know the term “it’s like searching for a needle in a haystackâ€�. Well, I’m going to change that to “it’s like searching for a Quest near a smoke stackâ€�. According to her transmitter, Quest has been frolicking around here the last couple of days. I’ve looked high and low but my searches are fruitless. I think I’ll make an appointment with my Optometrist to get my eyes checked  There’s a lot of waterfowl activity in the wetland these days so I’m sure Quest is indulging in this all-you-can eat buffet. Since I can’t provide you with any pictures of Quest yet, I’ll provide you with some images that could be viewed through her eyes while she is at Lennox. I’ll post them later today.

I only caught her for a moment, but Rhea Mae is still around!

    

Sightings of Mariah...Beauty...Rhea Mae...all on Thanksgiving.  Yay!!  But no Quest.  Hopefully Lennoxman will find her soon! 

It's up, but I need to make some changes to comply with new storage restrictions.

I have to thank Lennoxman up in Canada - he is the one who referred to Quest wearing a "cloaking device" (see Imprints comments), but I got a chuckle out of that too.  It's perfect for her!

I can't believe the nestbox from June 01 to June 20.  I guess this mama peregrine needs a lesson in housekeeping!
