Oh, Donna!!!!  That just about covers my bird watching experiences!!!!  What I am waiting for is for the bird to have a speaker and say "I am an eagle."  It just might be the only way I can easily identify them!

Me too jeanne...I told MAK a few weeks ago, I saw a tiny little brown bird. I've never seen one before, (what else is new)? So I googled "tiny little brown bird"... stupid and I got hundreds of entries and still none of them were what I saw.  silly  Yeah, so...uh huh.

I say it all the time!  THESE BIRDS NEED TO WEAR NAME TAGS !! Wink  stupid

They have been doing some SERIOUS digging in that gravel!  Look at the pile behind her!
That is some big pile...she is very industrious....

Hey FF, one of Carol's Tweets said she saw 3 Falcons over Kodak in Battle. 2 big and 1 small. Assuming but not def that it was A B and another female. They drove her away as she headed out. A and B and prob the 3rd are all OK. Beauty was at the nestbox  right after for 3 hours while Archer circled  the Kodak area. It was probably a "get out of our territory" kinda thing.

Hey Donna,
I'm glad they are ok...I guess you are right about the territory issue..I was kind of wondering if that would happen when the Midwest visitor showed up.
Thanks for letting me know!

Just taking it easy. Wonder if she was part of the battle @ Kodak?

Has a few white spots on her wing

What did I miss when I was at work???  There was a battle???

My first guess is prothonotary warbler

Oh my word! The things I do not know! Sweet wee bird - but I bow to those who could even begin to make a sensible guess... At this time of year, who knows what might turn up as migration continues apace. How wonderful to be in the company of such a creature!

That little bird was wonderful to see and be near. It was a special treat to be so close to it :-)

Mike's juvie, #00 or Michaela as I call her, with the broken wing was definitely put into an outside flight cage over the weekend.  Fingers crossed here that she will be flying free shortly.  Although I would love to see and photograph her during the Focus on Raptors Day at The Raptor Trust on October 16.

Oh Bonnie...is she a falcon?  How wonderful that is getting well  clap
