That little guy  was the first thing I thought of this morning...I hope there is news today..tomorrow I am stuck in the office for 10-11 hours and all these sites are blocked by IT dept.

Oh I am so glad to read he is doing well....I love that little guy...so brave and sweet!
My prayers are with him that he will be able to soar the skies once more.
But in the meantime this is the very best place for him to be where he gets the best of care.

Thanks Donna....These are great pictures...I watched the whole show off the stream and it was wonderful...too hot to go to my own here in NJ so I had the best seat in the house here...
And thanks for posting the pictures at the nest box too...I missed these actual sitings when I went out to water the gardens.
I hope little Calli wasn't too scared of the noise...too bad she & Beauty didn't know ahead of time so they could have stayed in the nest box.

I agree that his wing is not quite normal at all...Hopefully with lots of rest and good food he will recover completely. I am hoping too it is not a break just a strain...

Thank you so much for posting these wonderful pictures documenting the rescue...He looks so beautiful.  I hope for the very best that the x-rays show nothing bad....He looked so trustingly at the rehabber even though he was mad!

I have been checking anxiously all day about Jemi's condition.
I wanted to help in some small way to pay for his quail meals or his care while in rehab, therefore I have just made a donation to the Genesee Valley Audubon Society specifying that this is for his care.
I am so heartbroken about his injury...he and Calli are so sweet.
I pray all will go well....
