Just before I left this morning DebbieH stopped to watch the Beautyful one finishing up her meal. I have to mention that the whole time Beauty was plucking feathers and eating her prey just above her their were 2 small birds sitting atop Mercurys head and 1 on the money bag hand. Clearly they were smart enough to know they were safe from this fierce predator! Our girl was so busy at the dinner table she probably didn't even know she was being watched! I so love starting every day with Beauty. Keep your eyes to the sky everyone!   heart heart heart heart

You are so lucky to be able to start your day with beautiful Beauty!  She is magnificent  heart

Lucky you FF. The last time I saw a RTH was in Rochester back in 2006. Actually, it was my only RTH that I saw that wasn't moving.

RTH on pole

And who knew that when I took this pic that it would be the future home of A & B.

Thanks and you saw a PF also?? Great weekend for you.  thumbsup

That is a great picture of an RTH Donna...too bad A & B weren't living there at that time...It would have been great to see them wub2

Yes I saw a PF also...what a great sight to see  2thumbsup

RTH were out in force on Sat and Sun during our trip to Bucks County PA for the weekend.  It was the HUGE females on Saturday and the small males on Sunday.

That must have been great...It was a beautiful weekend too!   Smiley

Saw this gorgeous immature RTH on near Harrier Meadow today when leaving DeKorte.
This was after I saw the Peregrine that I didn't get a picture of...He took off when I tried to get closer to get a picture of him...He was beautiful... happy a perfect adult male (judging from his smaller size).
But this red tail was more cooperative...he was actually posing..didn't mind that three of us watchers were standing practically under him.  gum

I donated to Raptor Trust in New Jersey today and went to their Focus on Raptors.  10 photographers pay and get to take pictures of the birds in a natural setting.  The only drawback is that the birds have to wear their jesses and be tied to a perch.  But they seemed to manage.  Here are pictures of Georgette (and there is a twirly head for Dale and Donna):

Oh these are beautiful  heart..
I have to get back to the Raptor Trust...I love it there.....
