Thanks, MAK - I miss you too! Things are looking up a bit, so maybe I'll be able to join you again soon. I've been reading all of your reports; you've turned into a real pro! I bet you'll be one of the "Frosted Flakes" this coming winter!!! Carla P. PS. I know Dan doesn't do computers, so give him a big hug for me!!!

The last time I saw Jemison – and Archer, Beauty, Callidora and all of the Watchers – was at his second rescue on July 2nd. I haven’t been able to participate (in person) since that evening, but watching the video of his release and seeing all of the awesome pictures has certainly helped in filling the void I have felt since that fateful day. FLY HIGH AND FREE, BEAUTIFUL JEMISON, and may you carry on the legacy of Mariah and Kaver for many years to come.

Hello my fellow falcon fanatics! I'm sorry I couldn't make it to the Medley Centre for the reunion of Queen Mariah and her loyal retinue, but I wanted to thank Carol and Joyce for the beautiful pictures, and Brian for the phone call with the good news. Hopefully I'll make it to the city one of these days. I miss you all. Carla P. PS. My Mom is doing well most of the time, but someone needs to be with her 24/7. I guess that's why I'm a shut-in too

I agree with Jeanne. The aerial hunting in Alaska is sick, and made even sicker by then-Governor Sarah Palin's "bounties" for everyone delivering the left front forelegs of wolves. And now Idaho... it's disgusting. Sometimes I hate people. I have always loved wolves, and have thought human families would be a lot better off if we took some lessons from wolf packs. Dot, Defenders of Wildlife is a fantastic organization, and their fight for wolves is never ending. Any donation you send will be well spent to carry on this fight. Carla P.

Anything Else / Totally OT / sorry to be missing all the Falcon activities both downtown and at Kodak Park.

Hi everyone, I'm so sorry to be missing all the Falcon activities both downtown and at Kodak Park. My Mom had a very minor stroke last Thursday, so I've been tied up, running back and forth from Hamlin to St. Mary's Rehab. She's doing great, and keeping all the therapists (she calls them her teachers!) in stitches. No matter what, she never loses her sense of humor! I'll be at Rehab tomorrow morning, but perhaps I'll be able to sneak out for a Falcon Watch for a little while. Hope to see you guys. I loved the video, Carol. The juvie looks beautiful! Carla P.
