The Einsteins at Ustream did something last night to break their social stream.  There's nothing I can do about it. We'll just have to wait for them to fix it.

I hate to say this, but if you go by the numbers in recent years, I think odds are against the fourth egg of 2017 hatching.  Here's the pattern:

2013 - four eggs laid, three hatched
2014 - four eggs laid, four hatched
2015 - four eggs laid, three hatched
2016 - four eggs laid, four hatched
2017 - four eggs laid, three hatched as of May 2

I hope egg #4 of 2017 proves me wrong!

If the falcons are following last year's schedule for egg laying and hatching, which they are so far, then the 4th egg will hatch tonight. (Last year, #4 hatched on May 3rd at 10:06 PM.)

4 eggs, no trowel and the pot has drainage!!

The eyases will be jumping out of that pot at about the same point as when ours make that first hop out of the nest box, maybe sooner due to the limited space inside the pot. Unlike ours, however, they won't be able to jump back in because the pot is so tall.

Check the local TV stations at 5, 5:30, and 6.

Hopefully Shaky or someone can remove the nasty trolls from the chat especially as school kids are watching.

Better than nothing

I have reconfigured the system to take still photos from Main Camera's low-res night video camera.

Well phooey! We will survive. Maybe we'll get lucky and it will fix itself-the old one did a few times.

Yes, we will survive thanks to 5 working cameras. That's 5x more than most sites. And we have the best watchers on the street who share great photos and videos from their cameras.

Our high-resolu​tion Main Camera has died. There is no way to fix it until September. I will wire up the low-res night video camera to capture photos tomorrow. This camera cannot be zoomed.

Horrible!  Glad they caught them and hope they get sentences that match the crime!

Nice shot!  You're not looking at Kodak, so you must be looking at FCT, Crossroads or the north side of OCSR, right?  Hey, I always do some falcon watching when I'm at Frontier Field. 

The video was shot on Morrie Silver Way just north of Frontier Field. From there I couldn't see anything toward downtown because the stadium was blocking my view. I checked the Kodak tower several times as I walked by on my way toward State St. No falcons.

I found the video of me during the Heart Walk. I missed it at home because my ad blocker hid the video, and all I saw was the photo.
