As part of the FAA's permission for SpaceX to launch Starship from Texas, SpaceX must mitigate 75 areas of impact. Here's number 48:

48. SpaceX will continue to offer enhanced satellite monitoring via solar powered Starlink to the
Peregrine Fund for continuous video coverage of northern aplomado falcon habitat to aid in
biological monitoring.

Starlink can provide broadband internet to remote areas that can't get cable, fiber, etc. like places where these falcons nest. This sounds like they are going to set up webcams at these nesting locations.

I am new to the Forum but have been watching RFalconCam for a long time!  I am curious about the eyas, because they are the offspring of two falcons that are not banded, will they be banded?

That's an excellent question. The New York State Department of Environmental Conservation (DEC) is in charge of banding. They alone decide if the eyases will be banded.

That said, given that the DEC banded last year, we believe they do so again this year. The fact that Nova and Neander are not banded should not be a factor in their decision. Mariah and Kaver were not banded, yet all of their offspring were.

Also, congrats on you first post!

And the next feeding chart!

Fewer middle of the night feedings, but still more consistently very early morning feedings.

Interesting.  confused0083

Nova or Neander? On Cam 1.

Pretty big. I'll say Nova.
