Several cars were set on fire at a location about 2 miles from the nest box at about that time. Maybe it had something to do with Dot.ca's arrival.

Beauty comes in for shift change
Beauty leaves and starts e-chupping from a location nearby
Another falcon starts vocalizing -- more of a wailing sound
Dot.ca leaves nest
Vocalizing stops
Dot.ca returns

A bunch of you know that I'm a runner.  I run to get away from that heart attack.  A dear friend of ours (younger than Shaky btw) just had a pretty serious heart attack and he was in good shape!  Why not consider a donation or 2 or 3 and push Shaky over last year's $1000.00 mark?  Heck!  The life you save could be MINE!

The influx of donations seems to have stalled at $325. There are only 5 days left until the Heart Walk, and I'd really like to get that number up.

Yup...just yesterday. I always use a picture from the current year. I did tweak the exposure a bit.

It's almost the same as the one from 11:10 this morning except Beauty's foot is moving instead of her head.
