The colors on the library are easily seen, but Xerox tower was also showing the French colors -- the lights illuminating the corners of the building alternated blue, white, and red. They alternated too fast for it to be caught on the still photos. You had to watch the streaming video to see it.

If I think of it, I will interrupt Camera 1's night pan tonight to zoom in on the Xerox tower.

Hats off to those undoing the damage caused by human folly.

It looks like it came open sometime yesterday before 10:50 PM when it was first spotted by Camera 1 during its nightly pan. Powers Building management has been notified.

Ok, so the male is banded 40/AC black over green. We should be able to find out where he is from and if he was named.

No, Cam 8 doesn't zoom.

However, this past week, the MN team received some very interesting reports. One of these was that a young male falcon from Duluth, MN was found in LIMA,PERU!

Banded on June 15, 2015     He went FAR!!!!!!

The lengths living beings will go to to get out of Minnesota.

For now. This Camera 5 is temporary. The permanent one will not be that close to the nest box.

More work will be done on the cameras at Powers building tomorrow afternoon. The cameras will be turned off for several hours starting at 12 noon.
