Louisiana Department of Wildlife and Fisheries (LDWF) Enforcement Division agents have identified two juveniles for their alleged role in the illegal shooting of two whooping cranes in Jefferson Davis Parish. Juveniles?? Throw the book at them, teach them a lesson they will never forget!

Sterilize them before they reproduce.

They probably wouldn't work year-round in cold climates due to freeze-thaw conditions, but they could be removed and patched for the winter months when garden sheds are not being used anyway.

"You send all nine thousand of them out on the runs.  Although there are engineers at the throttles, no one is manning the switches.  The engines crash, collide, derail, jam, burn... At the end of the massacre you have three engines, which is what the run could support in the first place.  There are few enough of them that they can stay out of each others' paths.

Sounds like Congress.

I liked the sound effects, especially the afterburners. The only thing missing was the sound of the Stuka siren.

Peregrines can't compete on the flat with pigeons? Maybe those English peregrines can't, but it never stopped Mariah.

PS. I modified the topic title.

Are we still tracking Quest and if we are, will there be updates in the future like we used to have?  Just wondering if she's still in TO.

Kris - We're still getting readings from her transmitter thru the DEC and last I heard, she was still in the nest site area, usually within a mile.  Not sure how often these readings are being received & reported.

We received a reading very early this morning that puts her within a mile or two of the nest tray.

Fondle a Falcon...
Pamper a Panda...
Cuddle a Cuttlefish...
Pet a Puppy...
Kiss a Kitty...

(You get the drift...)

I'm not going to ask what to do to a Shih Tzu.
