Grissom and Rhiannon were the 2 names I submitted in 2004 when asked to name a Kodak falcon. M&K didn't have a daughter named Rhiannon, but now they have a granddaughter that is.
I know why you submitted Grissom...why did you also choose Rhiannon?
As you mentioned, Rhiannon was a Celtic goddess, specifically the Celtic goddess of the Moon. The connection to Grissom becomes obvious once you know that Gus Grissom would have been the first man on the Moon if he had not died in the Apollo 1 fire.
