A falcon just flew up to TS on the ledge.

Good thing we installed this camera. Otherwise we'd never know the falcon was there.

This is exactly why we installed 5 cameras and placed them where they are. It's the minimum configuration that can still see the falcons wherever they perch in the vicinity of the nest box. If we had  fewer cameras, there would be gaps in the coverage.

Sounds more like a steam relief valve than a compressor. Maybe someone forgot and left the boiler running at full tilt over the weekend.

Before you buy this app, be sure to search the app store. I'll bet there are serveral birding apps to chose from. One or more of them may have falcon sounds and even let you save them as ringtones.

"4 eggs" has a commanding lead in the poll with 70% of the vote. I think I'm going to change my vote to "6 eggs."

I ran across this article...it sounds like there has been a Snowy Owl hanging out at Braddock Bay:

I don't remember seeing/hearing any of the locals posting this sighting (it's possible that I just missed it), so I thought I'd pass it on.

The article was from Tuesday, with the sighting on Monday, so it's possible the bird might have moved on.
