I think Joyce is talking about the water tower on the south side of the plant.

How cool would it be if a similar display of falcons were erected in Rochester on the corner of Broad and Exchange? It could be placed in front of the Blue Cross Arena where those cheesy fiberglass benches are now.

Just wondering where Quest is, if the transmitter is still working and if any updates are coming soon??

The transmitter is still working, and she is still visiting the power plant daily.

Shaky, we seem to have lost acuity

Other than dirty lenses and a bad camera 3, which has always had problems, everything looks fine. In fact, compared to full screen views of old videos, the current ones have much fewer artifacts.

There were 2 other nest boxes at KP.  One was on Building 59 which was demolished, so it got taken down and presumably destroyed.

The nest box is gone, but B-59 is still standing.

There is speculation that the B-83 and B-59 nest boxes were taken down as part of the preparation for the demolition of several nearby buildings in 2006-7. If falcons had moved into either of the nest boxes, they would have been inside the blast zone.

As for the two nest boxes, someone should walk up to the top of the stairwells of B-59 and B-83. I wouldn't be surprised if the nest boxes were still there tucked into a corner.

It's working fine now.  I just voted twice. I wonder if someone was hacking it. It would be interesting if there was an unexpected leader Monday morning.

The team writes in Science journal that the penguin's feathers were brown and grey, distinct from the black "tuxedo" look of modern penguins.

It was nearly twice the size of an Emperor Penguin, the largest living species...

Reminds me of juvie Rhea Mae.
