The doctors say I may never be able to twist off a beer cap again.

I voted today even though I had to look at the ad for that awful Chase show.

While at Universal Studios Florida this Summer, my family was asked if we would review a pilot for a new series in exchange for $15. We agreed, and it turned out to be this Chase series. We were given two hand controllers, one for each hand, with a button on top to press with the thumb. (They reminded me of those old slot car controllers I had when I was a kid.) The rules were simple: press the right button if you like what you see on the tv screen, and press the left one if you don't.  Well, I held down the left button for nearly 40 minutes straight. My thumb got so tied that I had to switch hands. Then I squeezed the controller between my knees.  The show was so bad that I contemplated paying $15 just to let me leave early.

I also found a picture of Mary Ann with her transmitter in 2000. It shows her black/red band but not well enough to read it.

Mariah laid her first egg at Kodak in 1998. There are no pictures of this egg.

The first remote Birdcam pictures were taken from the cupola after fledging. Manual photography was taken earlier during banding.

We're kind of hoping they will ignore the nest box until next year so we can go up there to do some work before it gets too cold.
