To avoid further confusion, let's close this topic.

And we have it on tape! Archer came in first. Then Callidora chased him away. The action starts about 1 minute into the video.

It's a rite of passage when news of one of our young falcons starts appearing in the Rochester Falcon Offspring board.
5556  Rochester Falcons / Rfalconcam Website News / Thumbnails are back on: 09-Aug-10, 12:37:55 PM
After a long absence, thumbnails of archived pictures are available again. These thumbnails have the time printed in the upper left corner to make it even easier to determine when pictures were taken by the Rfalconcam cameras.

These are automatically generated when you use the Share and Movie features in the Archive Viewer.

As an added bonus, the times also appear in the thumbnails on the View All Cameras page. This lets you know instantly if one of the cameras is not updating every minute like it is supposed to. For example, Camera 4's thumbnail currently shows 08:10. That's because the camera stopped transmitting images at 08:10 on July 7th. (Yes, we'll eventually go to the Powers Building to fix it.)

5557  Rochester Falcons / Rochester Falcon Discussion / Rfalconcam's presence on Facebook on: 08-Aug-10, 04:55:34 PM
Rfalconcam's presence on Facebook could use a little help. We need an official non-profit organization page to replace our personal profile under the name Jess Rfalconcam. There is also an Rfalconcam group on Facebook that should be consolidated into the organization's page. Businesses, organizations, products, rock bands, etc. have pages on Facebook to reach out to their "fans." (You don't friend and organization. You become a fan.)

With an official non-profit Facebook page, Rfalconcam will be in a better position to receive funding if there is another Chase Community Giving contest. Lily the black bear received $100,000 and 195 other non-profits received $20,000 each.

Unlike a personal Facebook profile, an organization page can have more than one person updating its content -- adding updates, photos, videos, etc., and responding to comments from fans. These people are regular Facebook users who are appointed as administrators of the organization page by the owner.  Unfortunately, Rfalconcam's staff is already spread pretty thin, and we just don't have enough spare time to take on this task. We need some help.

Qualified Facebook users who are interested in administering the Rfalconcam Facebook page please send me a personal message by clicking on the speech bubble icon under my avatar to the left of this post.

Ask Shaky.  He's a cat expert.   kittykiss

I never let cats have catnip. It makes them taste funny.

... especially the gravy...

Gravy? You don't serve gravy with cats. That's why they invented catsup.

OK Yarak. I dont know who you are. A kind of «« Shaky »» maybe.... I wish you happy birthday. And for your birthday could you help me to fix my problem? I still have to register each time I enter. Will it be better for you to flush me and I will register again with another name and pass word??
Bonne fête. Nicole

I would try a different browser first. We have nothing on our site that would force you to log in each time. FireFox, safari, IE, Chrome.
