And of course now that they are back in the nest box in plain view of 2 cameras, Camera 1 decides to work again.

Camera 1 turned to the left and became stuck. It could not move left or right. I don't know why, but it finally became unstuck at 9:30. I moved it back to its standard viewing position where I hope it will stay from now on.

The camera took off to the left and got stuck looking at the pole. I'm hoping that it will unstick itself after it sits for a bit.

The flashing problem has been solved. The downside is the pictures from Camera 1 are a bit darker and grainier now. They should be fine in daylight though.

We'll see how it goes first.

A word of caution about Camera 1 streaming video.

It does not work well at night. At about 9 PM it will start flashing like a strobe light. We haven't figured out why yet, but we decided to go live anyway rather than missing the opportunity to have video of the eyases venturing onto the platform.

If the flashing bothers you, pause the 2nd video stream until morning. Do not report it to the Camera Problems board. We already know about it and are working on a solution.
