Please post only the information that you feel would be important to someone following the falcons.  Don't distract watchers with frivolous messages. They could easily lose sight of a bird while reading the tweets, and the results could be disastrous, especially when monitoring territorial battles or when watching young falcons on their first flights.

Abuse of this board will result in an immediate suspension of posting privileges.

There are several problems with links posted to the Social Stream.

1. Long URLs are truncated. All of the text may appear on the screen, but only the first 20(?) characters are used. This results in an incorrect link to an invalid page.

2. The Social Stream is open to everyone including those with malicious intent. Since it belongs to Ustream, we cannot change this. Anyone can post a link to a virus, spam, etc.

The best way to handle this is to refrain from posting links in the Social Stream and to avoid clicking on links posted by people you don't know. If you see a suspicious link on the Social Stream, post a warning to everyone to not click on it.

Is anyone else besides me getting a blank screen when clicking on the "Tune in to the rfalconcam show on Ustream" under the Ustream picture on rfalconcam?   ???
