I think the shell was still on. You can see it here in the first attachment. That would mean the discarded shell came from a 2nd hatch. Also notice that the eyas isn't quite dry. The 2nd attachment shows what looks like two eyases, one on each side of Beauty.

She didn't give him much time on the eggs but he didn't seem to mind this time.

He took off alarm kakking.

On the light colored one ..is that part of the first shell wrapped around the egg? 

I think so.

The server upgrade has been completed.

The camera is running again, but the problem is not fixed. It will most likely crash again.

Main Camera is up and running once again. I haven't figured out why it keeps crashing yet, but I have come up with a way to automatically reboot it afterward.

The camera crashed again tonight and was automatically rebooted, but it's still not responsive to commands.
