DandC    USGS says 5.5 magnitude earthquake in the Ontario-Quebec border region

    That's pretty strong for this neck of the woods!

My friend called from Henrietta. They felt it there and I felt it here in the city near Gates.

I watched from about 8:15 - 10:30 this morning. Archer was on OCSR napping on his favorite ledge, the kids were flapping and hopping around. No sighting of Beauty at first when she appeared first directly above the nestbox under a wing on the TS building. Stayed there awhile then flew to the ledge below the SE wing for a bit. She then flew down and landed on top of the nestbox for a minute while Jemison and Callidora stood there watching her. Archer left while this was happening and then Beauty  went in the nestbox , I couldn't see what she was doing. Girls seem to be liking the right side of the nest box today and the ledge around the area the ramp is on. When I left I couldn't find either adult and the girls were in the shade on the rt. side of nest box.

Archer just came in with food...Beauty grabbed it again and took off. Did anyone catch it?

Pan Cam didn't catch it but did you see the look on Archer's face? I swear he was so bewildered or embarrassed.    He looked around like WT Freak just happened? It all happened so fast. Was the food ever delivered by Beauty or did she cache it for the am feeding? 

She must have cached it cuz she didn't bring it back last nite!  Poor boy did look a bit bewildered.

   Nature is a wonder!

Jemison took the prey into the nest box, there was a tug of war which Callidora won and now she's mantling.
