Prayers continue for your continued recovery! I'm so glad you're home and out of that binder. And it sounds like everything is on track with your heart and lungs. You sure deserve this good news!

I'm home from the hospital and so thankful for all the peeps that care about me and pray for me. I'm sure that's what got me through my surgery recovery and this latest scare. It will take weeks for the blood clots in my lungs and legs to dissolve and get absorbed into my body. I'll be on Xarelto (blood thinner) for at least 3 months and will be having lung function testing. The echocardiogram showed the right side of my heart is a bit enlarged but since the ventricle looked normal they aren't too worried about it. I'm a lucky lady to be alive and to have so many friends out there pulling for me.Thank you so very much!!!! love and peace MAK

Thanks ladies! My breathing has improved a lot and I expect to be discharged soon. I'm getting a blood thinner through intravenous. The damage to my lung was minimal and shouldn't give me any problems. It will take weeks for the clots to dissolve and get absorbed into my body. My surgeon stopped by to see me and gave me the best news of the day- I can stop wearing my binder once I get home from the hospital! Thanks for all your support!
