Aren't Quest and Skye are on a low ledge, too?  Hopefully the 'formerly' Gulf Tower birds will have good watchers to assist if needed.  Glad the new site was located.

Yes Deb, Quest is nesting only 4 stories up and has had successful fledges from there.

The first of the four is out of the box, getting fed on the ledge next to the box.  Sure hope they band them soon, or they won't be able to catch 'em! 

They'll have to lasso them! 

 

It wasn't the best sleep, restless and I woke up a few times but I stuck it out and didn't retreat to my recliner. It'll get better every night just like I've gotten better every day. I'm hoping that when I see my surgeon next Thursday I can stop wearing the binder and hopefully drive. It's a very low car that I had trouble getting out of before so I have concerns with that cuz I don't want to strain myself-I'm still healing on the inside so I won't jeopardize my progress. Another wait and see thing! I will definitely have someone with me when I do try it just in case I need help to get back out the car. I don't want to be stuck in my car yelling "I got in my car and I can't get out"

I've made good progress the last week Patty! My incision has stopped draining and is pretty much completely healed. I'm going to attempt to sleep in my bed tonight for the first time in 6 weeks. Wish me luck!!  

I am very glad you're feeling that much better...keeping fingers crossed you get a good night's sleep!
