Feeling a bit better every day Patty. Still have some drainage and soreness in the incision near my belly button area. Still can't sit up straight with this binder on so I have to reach to type, therefore I don't do much of that on my laptop. I can't sleep in my bed yet as it's very uncomfortable laying flat or on my side so my life these days is spent in my recliner. Still hoping to be healed in time for fledge watch. Thanks for all the support everyone, I appreciates it!!

I stopped at the eagle nest on the way home. I won't be able to see the nest in a few days...totally hidden by the leaves. But I did catch a few good pics. I really like this one of Dad flying into the nest...which you can barely make out on the left. Nice white tail Ei!

Saw doctor today, he took out the staple that was left behind in my belly button and also found a long dissolvable stitch in there so he pulled that out too. Said the staple must have been under a scab and that's why we missed it cuz I didn't find it until 4 days after I started washing the incision twice a day. It's been 4 weeks since my surgery making it the half way point of my recovery. I go see surgeon on May 28th and hope that I will be able to shed this binder and start driving again-I can't sit up straight when wearing it and I don't think it would be very safe to drive with my seat reclined. I should be good to go just in time for fledge watch!
