While we were working on the cameras this afternoon, I spoke with Jenny from the DEC about Luzerne. Jenny told us that Luzerne was found on the sidewalk next to the Seneca Towers. Due to the trauma found on her body, it looked like she hit the building. I thought everyone would like to know. Thanks Jenny and Carol-at least we don't have to wonder anymore.

If a Falcon was sitting on a ledge in the elevator shaft and the elevator moved, could the Falcon get hurt or fall into the shaft and not be able to get out? Just wondering if anyone would know. Not likely. If the elevator started up, a falcon could quickly exit. Just the noise of the gears would be plenty of warning. The falcons can enter and leave the elevator shaft whether the elevator is up or down. It is an outside elevator, so there is no shaft to fall into. Thanks, Joyce. Guess I've never really looked at it that well the few times I've been DT Rochester. I've always worried about something bad happening to them while in there. Like Joyce said-our falcons would probably beat feet outta there at the first bit of sound or movement Kris. However, if they decided to stay put on the ledge they would be fine too-neither the elevator nor the gears go near the ledges.
