Be interesting to see where they release him.  If they go to the nest ledge area now, it's too risky.  The other kids might panic and then you'll have 3 more on the ground.

I don't see either wing drooping and his legs look good. I suspect Seabreeze will get a clean bill of health and be returned to his siblings soon. Fingers crossed! 

I tried for a few years, but Mack-Cali and the businesses in the building have to make money and have to impress clients.  Dirty windows don't do that.  And the guys really like the falcons, but they just didn't quite get the don't go on the roof thing.  The previous pair were used to it.  Now it seems that Juliet and her mate are getting used to it, too.  These birds just adapt.

My husband worked as a property manager for AT&T and he almost acquired that building but it fell through. The first thing Mack-Cali did was take Ed up to the roof to see the view! Ed was NOT impressed with them. Both remaining chicks have fallen from outside of the nest box now. 

No chick check today in Elizabeth, NJ.  Easier to do 101 Hudson on a weekend.  I assume Union County Courthouse is not open on the weekends.  I can't wait to see how Cadence will react.  I would wear a full suit of metal armor.

 

Chick Check just finished in Jersey City.  That was the fastest chick removal and return I have ever seen.  Juliet was NOT leaving the scrape.  And she came right back in when baby was returned.

Jersey dad put a lot of time, patience and effort into those eggs and I'm almost happier for him than Cadence! 

Barb Baldinger confirmed today that Screech (DotCa's older sister - born 2008 to Jack & Angel) is still the resident female at the AT&T Tower in Pontiac, Michigan.  She and her mate have 3 offspring this year.  The year she was born was the first year I met and helped Frank out with his fledge watch.

Big Frank was one of a kind and unforgettable! Wish I had known him longer cuz we had become good friends in the short time we had before he left us (way too soon) ! 

I got to know BF on a New Years Eve, on our chat. We talked for a long time after MAK left the chat. I remember one thing he said to me and that was, "I'm not sure I should be telling you this, as I hardly know you!" What a guy! Yay for Screech!
