Soggy eyases!

It's like they got dark overnight! It amazes me every year how fast they grow up.

A pair first attempted to build a nest on the roof of the County Courthouse in 2005, but windy conditions were an obstacle. In 2006 County workers installed a repurposed dog house to provide a wind shield, acting on the guidance of wildlife experts with the New Jersey Department of Environmental Protection. Every year until 2015, the same nesting pair has raised chicks in the doghouse since then.

 

Nice wings Letchworth-spread out!!!   The other 2 are like-what are those things!?

One of them was out there on the falcony yesterday as well but I didn't catch who it was.

4 boys at Duncan Mills! A few pics from today's (May 29) banding. We welcome THOR (X/83, 19 days, 700 g, green tape), TT (X/84, 19 days, 625 g, red tape), LOKI (X/85, 17 days, 520 g, yellow tape), VELCRO (X/87, 18 days, 520 g, blue tape). Quest and Mystery Guy have been feeding their boys very well .. all had full crops! Wishing them safe and successful fledges! Cheers, Lucie
