Beauty on Mercury again?

Yes!  

Day 2 in Paradise features some vulture antics. These guys perched on posts,chased each other,landed on the ground and their specialty-soared! I took Desaray(the rescued female boxer) as my niece spells her name for my first ranch ride. We are trying to familiarize her with her new home so Bo and Roscoe missed out today. We checked out the bulls at the back part of the ranch and I introduce you to Shadow the guard dog and Patches the newest stray cat to make a home with my sis. Got to love the fall colors as well!

Day 1 in paradise was spent with family and DAWGS! lol My sister Mary Ellen has 3-2 boxer boys named Roscoe and Bo and a husky chow mix named Shadow that guards the house. She has inherited another boxer from my niece who rescued it from a very busy highway. It is a small female that has been named Desiree. She was very skinny when they got her out of harms way a week ago. My niece Lorri has 5 dogs-a miniature long-haired Dachshund named Sierra Rose, a short-haired Dachshund named Jody, 2 mixed breed boys named Tucker and Dakota and a small female boxer named Jada. My sister has 3 outdoor cats that do come in the house too named Whiskers,Peanut and Patches. My niece has 2 cats named Sky and I can't recall the name of the other one and 2 rabbits-not sure of names. Ginger my sisters horse came up to the jeep and gave my sis a kiss and I spotted a hawk in a tree by the driveway. It flew off before I could get a good look at it. And I found a nest and 2 Orange Wasps in one of my sisters birdfeeders when I went to fill them. Never seen them before as Donna and I googled them in order to ID. I have pics at the link below!

Thank you Lola! Yes I expect to get quite my fill of nature while I'm here for the next month. 

Hi all! I made it if you can believe it ON TIME in Arkansas! Long time getting here but it's all good. When I got out the jeep upon arrival at the ranch house the coyotes were howling up a storm! Hopefully the return trip home will go better but I have a month before I have to deal with a bus of any kind again! lol The sun is shining and the temperature is around 70 fahrenheit. My sisters horse came to give me a kiss as we were driving out the driveway this morning to visit my niece. One of the heifers also came over to the jeep to say hi. Right now there are 8 dogs here-we're missing Shadow who is my sisters guard dog-she stayed home to do her job. lol It's ALL about animals ALL the time here just the way I like it!!! Will spend today while everyone is home from work to visit with the family. Tomorrow Bo,Roscoe(my sisters 2 boxer boys) and the newest (a small female boxer named Desi) rescued from the highway will start taking our daily ride around the ranch looking for critters and raptors.
